GRATITUDE OUTREACH MARKS FIVE YEARS OF IMPACT AS 5.0 EDITION HOLDS THIS SATURDAY IN ABUJA

Gratitude Outreach Pst. Ifejola

The Gratitude Outreach Initiative is set to host its fifth edition this Saturday, 29th November 2025, in Abuja, marking five years of unwavering commitment to touching lives, restoring hope, and impacting communities across Nigeria. Founded in 2021 by Pst. Ifejola Opara, the initiative was born from a personal vision to give thanks by giving back, a call to serve those in need and bring them closer to hope and faith.

Over the past four years, the initiative has reached over 7,000 individuals, providing essential support that includes food, clothing, medical assistance, counseling, and spiritual guidance. The outreach has grown steadily each year, strengthening its impact and deepening its engagement with beneficiaries.

From the very first edition, the focus of the initiative has been to combine practical support with emotional and spiritual care. Beneficiaries have received basic medical attention, free check-ups, medication, eyeglasses, health talks, and care packages. Many have also found solace and encouragement through personal counseling sessions, helping families navigate moments of need with dignity and hope.

The Gratitude Outreach 5.0 promises to take this commitment even further. This year, the initiative aims to reach over 3,000 people, while expanding its medical services to include minor surgical procedures, and strengthening welfare coverage to reach more families effectively. The outreach will continue to provide clothing, food, and counseling support, ensuring that each family touched by the initiative experiences holistic care.

Reflecting on the upcoming event, Pst. Ifejola Opara stated,
“Gratitude is more than a feeling; it is a call to action. Each year, we have shown up with hearts ready to serve and hands ready to support. This year, we aim to touch even more lives, offering hope, care, and spiritual encouragement to families who need it most. Every smile, every tear wiped, every life uplifted is a testament to what consistent compassion and shared purpose can achieve.”

The Gratitude Outreach has not only provided immediate relief to those in need but has also nurtured spiritual growth, with over 4,000 individuals making faith commitments since its inception. Beneficiaries have been guided to faith-based communities for ongoing support, ensuring that the outreach’s impact extends beyond material assistance.

The outreach continues to rely on community participation, volunteerism, and contributions of food, medical supplies, and clothing, inviting individuals and organizations to join in making the 2025 edition the most impactful yet.
