WONDIVA Marks 10th Anniversary with Global “Finish Your Bible in 30 Days” Challenge
Inspired by her experience of reading the entire Bible in 22 days while caring for twin toddlers, SAGENEL is inviting men and women to embark on a 30-day journey through Scripture.
Finding time to read the Bible consistently can be difficult, even for people who deeply desire to grow in their understanding of Scripture. Family responsibilities, work, unexpected life events and the demands of everyday living can make it difficult to maintain a reading plan, let alone complete all 66 books of the Bible within a month.
For SAGENEL, founder of WONDIVA Global Community, this challenge became personal in September 2026, when she set out to read the entire Bible and completed all 1,189 chapters in just 22 days. Now, as WONDIVA celebrates its 10th anniversary, she is turning that experience into an invitation for others through the “Finish Your Bible in 30 Days” challenge, a global Bible-reading initiative designed to help participants journey through Scripture from Genesis to Revelation within one month.
SAGENEL began her reading challenge on September 1 and completed it on September 22, 2026. She tracked the chapters she read each day and used several Bible translations, including the New International Version (NIV), which accounted for most of her reading, as well as the English Standard Version (ESV), Today’s English Version (TEV) and The Message.
The experience was demanding. She was caring for her twin toddlers, fell ill during the challenge and received news of a serious accident involving her parents. There were moments when she considered giving up, questioning whether completing the challenge within such a short period was necessary. However, she continued, describing the strength to finish as an experience of God’s help.
One night became particularly memorable: she spent nine hours and nine minutes reading Scripture, completing 262 chapters as she worked to catch up with her reading plan. Even when her toddlers woke and needed her attention, she remained committed to completing the journey.
Although she believes she could have finished earlier with better time management and without falling ill, completing the Bible in 22 days was a significant personal milestone. More importantly, the experience strengthened her desire to encourage others to approach Bible reading with greater intention and consistency.
The upcoming challenge is an extension of that conviction. Rather than keeping the experience to herself, SAGENEL wants to help others discover what they can accomplish when they approach Scripture with a clear plan, commitment and support.
The “Finish Your Bible in 30 Days” challenge is open to men and women and forms part of WONDIVA’s 10th-anniversary activities. Under the theme “Becoming a Woman of Magnificence,” the programme centres on three ideas: The Word, The Journey and The Transformation.
Participants will receive a structured 30-day Bible-reading plan covering all 66 books and 1,189 chapters, the Becoming a Woman of Magnificence companion e-book, a daily reading and reflection guide, and access to a global community designed to encourage commitment and accountability.
For participants who have wanted to read the entire Bible but have struggled to know where to begin or how to remain consistent, the programme offers a defined structure and a shared journey. It is also intended to encourage those balancing family life, work and other responsibilities to make intentional space for Scripture within their existing routines.
WONDIVA began on January 10, 2016, as a WhatsApp community of fewer than 20 women. Over the past decade, it has developed into a broader community focused on faith, personal development, relationships, leadership and women’s growth. The Bible-reading challenge brings that faith-centred commitment into its anniversary celebrations, inviting people beyond the immediate community to participate in a shared spiritual undertaking.
For SAGENEL, completing the Bible in 22 days was not simply about reaching the final chapter. It was an experience of perseverance and spiritual discovery that she now hopes will encourage others to engage more deeply with God’s Word. Through the 30-day challenge, participants will have the opportunity to follow a structured plan, reflect on what they read and remain connected to others pursuing the same goal.
Registration is open to interested participants. Those who wish to join can send the code word BIBLE to 0808 777 6755 via WhatsApp or register online at https://selar.com/7731u9a975.
The programme is part of WONDIVA’s celebration of ten years of community, faith and growth, with an invitation to participants to make the next 30 days a deliberate journey through Scripture.
One Bible. Thirty days. The Word, the journey and the transformation.
