In a significant effort to combat hunger and provide economic relief, the You Matter Charity Foundation, led by Deaconess Tobore Oborevwori, has supported 2,500 vulnerable women across Delta State with ₦125 million in financial assistance and food items.

The intervention, carried out through the Delta State Food Bank initiative, aimed to ease the financial burden on low-income women and families struggling with rising living costs.

Each beneficiary received ₦50,000 alongside food supplies to help meet immediate household needs and provide some financial relief.

Speaking during the outreach, Oborevwori reaffirmed her commitment to improving the welfare of vulnerable women, particularly those facing economic hardship and limited access to essential resources.

She emphasised the importance of compassion, community support and targeted interventions in addressing poverty and improving the living conditions of disadvantaged families.

The initiative also highlighted the foundation’s continued efforts to reach underserved communities and support women who play important roles in sustaining their households.

Beyond providing immediate assistance, the programme demonstrated the value of partnerships and community-driven humanitarian interventions in responding to the economic challenges affecting vulnerable populations.

Through the You Matter Charity Foundation, Oborevwori continues to champion initiatives focused on social welfare, women’s empowerment and improving the quality of life of disadvantaged individuals.

The outreach reinforces the importance of ensuring that vulnerable women are not left behind, while demonstrating how targeted financial and food assistance can provide meaningful relief to families facing economic difficulties.
