Motherhood & Me Conference 2026 to Bring Parents Together to Explore “The Power of Motherhood”

Motherhood & Me Conference 2026

Raising children has become increasingly complex. Parents today are navigating changing family dynamics, technology and social media, emotional wellbeing, demanding work and home responsibilities, and growing questions about how to prepare children for an uncertain future.

For many mothers, the responsibility can also come with limited support and few spaces where they can openly discuss the realities of parenting, learn from experts, and connect with others facing similar experiences.

It is against this backdrop that the Motherhood & Me Conference 2026 will take place in Abuja on Saturday, November 7, 2026, bringing together mothers, fathers, educators, caregivers, and others passionate about raising the next generation.

The conference is convened by Dr. Ebere Ojadua, founder of Fostering Geniuses, and is themed “The Power of Motherhood: Raising Leaders, Shaping the Future.” It will take place from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM at The Aretean Place, Area 11, Garki, Abuja.

The 2026 edition is designed to create a space for learning, connection, inspiration, and practical conversations around the realities of raising children today. Discussions will touch on areas including parenting, maternal wellbeing, children’s development, and technology, giving participants an opportunity to reflect on the role they play in shaping the next generation.

The conference will feature five speakers: Dr. Ebere Ojadua, Dr. Femi Kayode, Nclawese J. Tokula, Comfort Booth, and Ngozi Enite-Okoro.

Through lectures, conversations, and expert sessions, the programme will explore how parents can become more intentional and equipped in raising children, while also recognising the wider support systems that children and families need.

The theme, “The Power of Motherhood: Raising Leaders, Shaping the Future,” reflects the central idea behind the gathering: motherhood is not only about caring for children in the present, but also about influencing the people they will become and, ultimately, the communities and society they will help shape.

While the conference centres on motherhood, it is not a mothers-only event. Fathers, educators, caregivers, and everyone passionate about raising the next generation are welcome to participate. The organisers recognise that children’s development is influenced by the wider network of adults and communities around them.

Beyond the sessions, the conference will provide opportunities for participants to network, share experiences, ask questions, and build meaningful connections with others on the parenting journey.

The event is part of the wider work of Fostering Geniuses, a parenting and early childhood development platform focused on equipping parents and caregivers to better understand and nurture children’s potential.

The 2026 edition also comes as the Motherhood & Me platform expands its conversations beyond the annual gathering through the recently launched Motherhood & Me Podcast, creating another avenue for parents to access conversations and insights around motherhood, parenting, and family life.

At a time when parents are increasingly looking for trusted information, supportive communities, and practical approaches to raising children, the Motherhood & Me Conference 2026 aims to create a space where those conversations can happen.
